AI/ML Engineer building systems from first principles — not by blindly stacking frameworks, but by understanding what's actually happening underneath.
I'm Pari Jain, an IT student and AI/ML developer from India who genuinely wants to understand how things work — not just make them work. I prefer reading the paper over watching the tutorial, and building from scratch over calling the API.
My work spans deep learning, computer vision, NLP, audio classification, and full-stack AI applications. I'm drawn to technically difficult problems — the ones where the answer isn't obvious, and the solution demands first-principles thinking.
I contribute to open source through GSSoC, compete on Kaggle, and run experiments that are firmly research-adjacent. But I'm also a communicator — I've anchored 20+ events, led a college reader's club, and reported for the college media cell. Technical depth + human presence is a combination I've deliberately cultivated.
"I prefer solving technically difficult problems and understanding systems deeply — instead of blindly using frameworks."
Engineering is my craft — but communication is my superpower. I've deliberately built both. The best technologists can articulate, inspire, and lead. Here's where I do that.
Open to research collaborations, internships, open source projects, and conversations about AI systems that push actual boundaries. If it's technically interesting — I want in.
